XC RACING SPECIALIST ATOMIC SWEDEN (M/F/D)

We are looking for a dedicated, passionate and structured XC Racing Specialist in Sweden. This position will be the face of the brand in the XC community and will be responsible for the local cross-country racing program. Responsible for the local racing program you will manage every aspect of the program and develop it further by recruiting athletes and providing high quality racing service to our ATOMIC athletes. The position requires extensive traveling. 

KEY MISSION AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Increase brand awareness and market share in local xc racing community by recruiting and maintaining ATOMIC athletes
• Provide impeccable racing service to athletes
• Plan and execute racing season within budget frame
• Coordinate with global xc racing team – the position will work closely with HQ XC racing team 

TASKS AND RESPOSIBILITIES:

• Define, order and select athlete’s equipment with clear specifications and timing
• Recruit new athletes in racing community
• Provide service during races – ensure athletes have the best possible equipment for the race and conditions through testing
• Provide local feedback on equipment to HQ Product team
• Coordinate the athlete community through pro-active and precise communication
• Be the face of the brand towards athletes, clubs, parents and all key stakeholders in XC community
• Negotiate partnerships with local XC clubs together with sales team
• Sales of racing equipment
• Close exchange and collaboration HQ XC racing team
• Manage budget with guidance from brand
• Plan, coordinate and execute seasonal racing plan

YOUR PROFILE AND REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: 

• Outstanding product knowledge related to XC
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbally)
• Highly structured with attention to detail
• Ability to juggle many tasks at once
• Enjoy spending time in the community, this role requires great passion for the sport and community
• Excellent athletic skill level on XC (skate-classic)
• Deep market insight and understanding of XC community
• Service and open-minded
• Team spirit and proactive work attitude
• Good knowledge of MS Office and usage of CRM systems
• Fluent in English
• Willingness to travel
• Driving license class BE

NEEDED WORK EXPERIENCE:

• 4 years of experience in the XC sports community, either in the capacity of a similar role or as athlete, waxer, coach or other relevant role
