Wsportsmedia is an international sport business firm founded 2014 in Stockholm Sweden with HQ in Höganäs, and personnel in, Norway, France, Finland and Brazil. The firm operate across the sport business value chain with media productions, media rights distribution, sport partnerships and management of international sport events.
Wsportsmedia operates Ski Classics, consisting over 80 Pro Tour and Challenger events worldwide.

Wsportsmedia – Event Manager
In the role as Event Manager, you will work commercially with Ski Classics and Wsportsmedia´s events and commercial rights portfolio. In this role you are a part in the event team with focus to develop new and existing events into financially sustainable long-term projects. Digital skills are today very important in order to operate event businesses, to be up to date and work effective with digital tools and social channels is a key to future success. This role will work extensively at coordinating the events and developing the digital workflow. Working with sports is a lifestyle as many events take place in the weekends. This position offers an exciting workplace in an international environment where you travel to many different destinations around Europe. The position is based at W HQ in Höganäs, Sweden. Areas of responsibility
· Event registration system management and marketing
· Event production planning and execution
· Digital development of existing event projects to market and drive sales
· On site events work, guiding local event organizations
· The role reports to Wsportsmedia Chief Event Officer, CVO

Experience
· Business and or digital marketing education
· Fluent English in speech and writing, other language skills are meritorious.
· Habit and interest in working in a modern digital environment and social media
· Experience from professional sports or events is advantageous

Personality
· Commercial hard working and driven person with digital and social skills
· Willingness to periodically work intensively from, time to time (peak season is November – April)
· Interested in international tasks and relationships.
· Passion for sports as it is an important part of the daily work.
· Knowledge about Ski Classics
